KiNdNeSs???

Shalom!
these few weeks i feel so tired and weak and my backache is really a hinderance to my performance. it feels like watching the first Hulk Movie by Ang Lee (-sigh-) everyday...

when i look around, i can see 'pure kindness, temporal kindness, faked kindness and exclusive kindness.' it is very obvious as we live in an 'artificial world' (as a counsellor told us) and i have to be sharp and honest in this issue as i realized that it will become worse if all our kindness are pretences and based on selfish motives.

pure kindness- a genuine kindness, driven by good inner self.

temporal kindness- a kindness based on a retributional idea, a pretended kindness to achieve something from other people.

faked kindness- NO COMMENT on this! i don't want to judge, i just want to remind others and myself. no harm.

exclusive kindness- a kindness shown only to certain people or a group, always asscociated wuth favoritism and biasness.

the QUESTION is: why should i be kind to others?

Ephesians 4:32 says, "be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."

1 Corinthians 13:4 "Love is patient and kind."

Deuteronomy 24:19, "when you are harvesting your crops and forget to bring in a bundle of grain from your field, don't go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigners, orphans and widows. Then The Lord your God will bless you in all you do."

Kindness is an act of love, and after loving God, loving others is the next greatest command. A simple but profound truth is that God blesses you for acts of kindness in ways that are the best for you. You may think that having more money would be a great blessing, but God may know that a close friendship, a deeper relationship with Him, or victory over a bad habit may be more valuable. As our kindness towards others blesses them, we in turn will be blessed by God's kindness.

And finally....."NEVER LET LOYALTY AND KIDNNESS GET AWAY FROM YOU! WEAR THEM LIKE A NECKLACE; WRITE THEM DEEP WITHIN YOUR HEART." -Proverbs 3:3.

Cheers and peace!
