One of my junior by the name of Matthew Choong related to me a very interesting incident that had taken place years ago.

It happened one day that he was asked by some of his friends to fetch a guitar in K.L. the guitar was initially paid, all he needs to do was just to fetch it from the shop.

To get the guitar, he needs to get on two different buses plus a few blocks and rows of shops to walk to.

In the end, he got the guitar and only God knows all the trouble that he faced just to get it.

He grumbled and complaint to himself that day, obviously because he felt mistreated.

Upon arriving home and meeting his friends, they shouted,

“Happy birthday, Matthew!”

It was his birthday.

And guess what?

The guitar was actually a birthday present for himself.

Many a times in life, we do not know why God allows us to go to a place or situation where we find it very difficult to handle and comprehend.

God allows us to be in certain circumstances because He has a plan for us.

In Jeremiah 29:11, God spoke to the Israelites “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

How much more does God want to tell us that everyday we woke up, things around us are actually according to His will and plan?

It is ultimately up to us now, whether to follow or not to follow.
