“Christ is Our
Peace” (Ephesians 2:14).
Days gone by without
a day chaos unheard
Conflicts happened in
and around us on daily basis
Nations against
nations
Leaders against
leaders
Protesters against
the police
Personal need against
personal crave
Amidst all these
trembles and uncertainties, stands a great name
For he himself is our peace, who has
made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility
Father, grant us the
peace that passes all understanding
Calm the storm, cease
the wind
Calm the storm around
us, calm the storm which is already in us
Help us to know that
you are indeed the Prince of Peace
And show your mercy
upon those who prefer violence
For they do not know
what they are doing
Help us to represent
you in everything that we do
Help us to present
you to the world that we live in
You are our peace
You are my peace
You are the true peace.
